Fight Against Corruption

Corruption in India is at its peak, especially in Uttar Pradesh.  Uttar Pradesh Police DGP has taken a step forward to fight against it and has started cleaning corruption within the Police force. He has directed the all the officer in high authority to identify the corrupt officers in the system and to take strict action against them.

In Noida on Monday, Based on the complaint of corruption, the DGP of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. O.P Singh has suspended various officers based on a filed FIR. The FIR was lodged for the extortion of businessman by demanding Rs. 18 lacs as a bribe. The police officers involved in the case have been suspended. Police Inspector Anil Pratap Singh and SSI Rajesh Kumar Singh of Sector 58 Noida were suspended along with 10-12 unknown policemen.

The strict and fast action taken by the police against their own officers has made the people of Noida believe that the authorities are finally waking up to the corruption in their own ranks.

UP Police has proved that no one is bigger than Law. But the question arises can any further strict action will be taken against the corrupt police officers?
